The mission of the Dogwood Elementary Library Media Center is to promote a love of reading, help create life-long readers and to ensure that the staff and students are effective and responsible users of ideas and information. The goal of the Library Media Center is to provide access to a variety of print and virtual information, as well as literacy instruction that will catapult and prepare students into and for the information age. The Library Media Center strives to provide materials that support the Board approved curriculum and academic goals of the Kearney R-1 School District.
